We are convinced that the health and safety of our personnel and of the local community are fundamentally important. For this reason, we work tirelessly to reduce processing residues to a minimum, facilitating the recycling of material at every opportunity. Moreover, we reduce the amount of waste produced and sent to landfill, and we monitor every phase of our manufacturing processes to that end.
Emissions
An issue that is always under control.
We periodically monitor our emissions to ensure they remain strictly within legal limits, thanks to advanced filtration systems. Additionally, we constantly inspect raw materials and their suppliers, conducting regular checks on finished products as well

Savar is proud to be certified as compliant with the ISO9001 quality standard and with the ISO45001 standard, thus guaranteeing the implementation of an effective and efficient health and safety management system. We are also setting out on the path towards the attainment of ISO 14001 environmental certification, demonstrating our constant commitment to sustainable practices and the protection of the environment.
Our production process
The life cycle of our materials
In our production process, every material is reused within the cycle. Unfired pieces are reintroduced into the production cycle, minimizing waste. Fired pieces find a new life as materials for home fireplaces and barbecues. There are no industrial discharges in our process. We use natural gas kilns where gases are reused and re-burned before being emitted—a requirement we strictly follow to reduce emissions. Compliance with the RoHS 3 Directive.
Following the implementation of Delegated Directive EU 2015/863, we introduced new substances to the list of Directive 2011/65/UE (RoHS 3). This legislation sets out provisions concerning the restriction on the use of hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment, contributing to efforts to safeguard the health both of human beings and of the environment, and helping to ensure the eco-compatible recovery and disposal of the waste produced by such equipment.
Based on our suppliers' declarations, we confirm that all ceramic products manufactured and marketed by us comply with the maximum concentration limits of hazardous substances specified by the RoHS 3 directive. This commitment allows us to ensure safe products for our customers that fully adhere to current regulations.
